Environment Champion Quiz 2026 – Official Launch & Orientation Programme

The third edition of the Environment Champion Quiz 2026 was officially launched at The Calcutta Anglo Gujarati College, Kolkata, with the participation of 100+ teacher coordinators, media representatives, volunteers and partner organisations. The orientation programme focused on introducing the vision, objectives and outreach plan of the initiative, while encouraging greater participation from schools and educators. The Environment Champion Quiz aims to create greater awareness among students about environmental sustainability, climate change, biodiversity conservation, waste management and responsible citizenship through an engaging and educational quiz platform. With an outreach planned across 100+ schools, the initiative seeks to inspire young minds to understand environmental challenges and become active champions of sustainable development. The programme also highlighted the importance of collaboration between schools, educators, media and environmental stakeholders in creating a wider impact. Through this initiative, the organisers aim to build a strong community of environmentally conscious students and encourage meaningful action towards a greener, healthier and more sustainable future.
