Environment Round Table 3.0, organised by MANTRAS Foundation in association with the National Library of India, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, brought together corporate leaders, academicians and changemakers for meaningful dialogue on environmental challenges. Held on 5 June 2026, World Environment Day, the 3rd edition focused on “Man-Made Disasters: The Price of Neglect, The Call for Action”, with Prof. Ajay Pratap Singh, Director General, National Library of India, joined the programme as our speaker

Environment Round Table 3.0 marked the third edition of MANTRAS Foundation's collaborative environmental dialogue platform, bringing together corporate leaders, academia and changemakers to discuss pressing environmental challenges and explore practical pathways towards a greener and more sustainable future. Organised by MANTRAS Foundation in association with the National Library of India, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, the event was held on 5 June 2026, World Environment Day, at the Conference Room of the National Library of India, Kolkata, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by refreshments. The central theme of the Round Table was “Man-Made Disasters: The Price of Neglect, The Call for Action”, highlighting the environmental consequences of human negligence and the urgent need to move from discussion towards responsible and collective action. A key presence at the programme was Prof. Ajay Pratap Singh, Director General, National Library of India, whose participation added significant institutional and knowledge-sector value to the dialogue. His association with the programme further strengthened the platform's objective of connecting environmental awareness with knowledge, education and meaningful public engagement. The Round Table brought together diverse voices from the corporate, academic and social sectors, encouraging participants to engage in meaningful discussions, exchange ideas, share solutions and build partnerships for a sustainable future for People, Planet & Prosperity. The event was convened by M P Khemka (Chairman), Gopal Jhunjhunwala (Head of the Alliance Segment), Vibhor Tandon (President), and Pragya Jhunjhunwala (General Secretary). The programme also highlighted a continued environmental engagement plan through a year-long drive, including Tree Plantation Drives, Talk Shows & Quizzes, and Informative Sessions. Through Environment Round Table 3.0, MANTRAS Foundation seeks to create a sustained platform where knowledge, collaboration and action come together to address environmental challenges and build a more responsible and sustainable future.
